Physical Description
Dakota is a silver-gray wolf with a sleek and athletic build, shaped by long days of running through the taiga and surviving in the wild. His fur is thick and coarse, with lighter markings along his muzzle and chest that stand out in the sunlight. Golden eyes give him an alert, intelligent look that seems to take in everything around him. A small notch in his left ear is one of the few visible reminders of the dangers he has faced. His movements are quick and fluid, showing both the grace of a natural hunter and the tension of a survivor who never truly forgets what it means to be hunted. Whether racing across the plains around Ahimsa Village or standing guard beside his pack, Dakota’s appearance reflects endurance, speed, and quiet strength.
Personality
Dakota is defined by loyalty and heart. Even after losing everything, he continues to care deeply for others and always looks for ways to help. Though once carefree and playful, the attack that destroyed his first pack changed him, shaping him into a wolf with courage tempered by humility. He tends to think before acting, but when his friends are in danger, his instincts take over without hesitation. Dakota is loyal to a fault and values companionship above all else. Being alone weighs heavily on him, and it is clear that his greatest comfort comes from belonging to a pack. While he sometimes struggles with self-doubt, his determination and compassion consistently set him apart, earning him the respect of both wolves and unlikely allies alike.
History
Dakota was born into a close-knit pack that lived in the northern taiga, led by the strong and steady alpha, Logan, and his mate, Moon. Life in the pack was simple and full of purpose. Dakota spent his early days running through the forest with his best friend, Archie, helping scout for herds, and quietly admiring a young wolf named Lupe. Everything changed when a mysterious plague known as the Glitch spread through the land of Diamodia. The infected mobs multiplied whenever struck, creating endless waves of undead that overwhelmed every living creature they encountered. When the Glitch reached Dakota’s forest, his pack was slaughtered despite their bravery. The alpha, the elders, his friends, and his mother—all were lost. Dakota alone escaped.
Exhausted and heartbroken, Dakota wandered the forest until he encountered Skeleton Steve, a rare undead who still retained his mind and compassion. Instead of attacking, Skeleton Steve offered help and food, and together they fled the spreading corruption. During their travels, they came across two other survivors, Rex and Winter, wolves whose own pack had been destroyed by the Glitch. The four of them journeyed together under Skeleton Steve’s guidance, seeking safety and a new beginning. Eventually, Skeleton Steve led them to Ahimsa Village and introduced them to Steve, the living Minecraftian known throughout Diamodia as a protector of life. Steve welcomed the wolves into his home, fed them, and gave them a new purpose. Under his care, Dakota, Rex, and Winter found peace within the safety of the village walls. For the first time since the fall of his pack, Dakota belonged again.
In time, Dakota became one of Steve’s most trusted animal companions, helping defend the village and guiding lost villagers through dangerous lands. Though the memory of his fallen pack never leaves him, Dakota has found new meaning in protecting others and standing beside his new family.
