Journey with the Mantis starts off exactly like that — UltimateSword5 says, “We’re just going south to trade with a witch. Easy!” And I, being the ever-trusting skeleton that I am, believed him. Spoiler: it wasn’t easy. It was a disaster with extra magic on top.

The witch’s name was Worla. Sounds familiar, right? It did to me too, but I couldn’t remember why. There’s something about her laugh that makes your soul want to hide under a block of obsidian. Add in a weird assassin that shows up halfway through the trip (because apparently, we can’t go anywhere without someone trying to stab us), and the whole “fetch some potion ingredients” plan goes downhill faster than a creeper on ice.

The worst part? The Glitch is spreading. Yeah, that crimson infection that eats the world — it’s leaking into the Nether portal near Angel Valley now. I’ve seen a lot of scary things in my time, but The Glitch always makes me feel like the whole world is holding its breath.

Anyway, it’s one wild ride — witches, assassins, potions, and a few surprise cameos that’ll make fans of the Minecraft Diary series grin.
